Will it be a Boy or a Girl?

The big ultrasound is nearly here, although it feels like it can’t come soon enough for me. Friday morning we’ll (hopefully) find out whether it’s a little boy or girl that has been kicking me. Yep, I can feel the little flutters and movements! Nothing has been strong enough yet for Nick or the boys to feel, but I suspect it won’t be much longer now. I’ll be 18 weeks along tomorrow!

Some of you have noticed the little poll on the right hand side of your screen and have voted already. Considering the number of hits I get per day though, I know there are many more people left to vote! So what do you think? Will I finally get the little girl I long for or will it be another wild boy? Or, will the baby mess with us and not let us see?

Pregnancy Similarities:

The extent of my “morning sickness” was just nausea.

Pregnancy Differences:

I’ve been having headaches a lot this second trimester. Some of them have been vicious migraines (enough to make me physically ill). Thankfully the doctor prescribed something to help with the really bad headaches.

Not many “cravings” yet to speak of, where as by this point with the boys I had already craved tacos (from Taco Bell) and meatballs in a pretty bad way.

Zero heartburn yet (although I probably just jinxed that for myself).

Heart Rates:

First ultrasound at 9 weeks – HR of 180

HR at doctor’s appointment at 13 weeks – HR 165

I have no clue what the boys’ HR’s were. I think I was too distracted with all the tripletness to notice!

Vote!

And don’t worry, I won’t hold it against you if you vote “blue” 😉

Hoping like everything you have a GIRL, but really, honestly think it’s a boyReplyCancel

I still think its a girl 🙂 Both of my girls heart rates were above 160. I dont think I had cravings till more towards the end. Every pregnancy is different though. I can tell you, this one compared to both the girls has been soooooooooo much different to where I knew it had to be a boy just for the fact I never had morning sickness and was completely sick with both girls. Isn’t that just weird?!? LOL Good luck on Friday! I can’t wait to see what you are having!ReplyCancel

  • I just washed all our 0-3m clothes and my little man has MORE than enough to wear from his twin brothers…triplets I can only imagine. I hope for that reason you are having a boy but I’m thinking girl.ReplyCancel

    • Good thought in theory, Libby. Sadly, I’ve given away or sold most everything baby related! We had even given our cribs away 3 weeks before we found out I was pregnant. I have a handful of randomly sized stuff from 3M-12M and that’s about it, so I’ll be starting over regardless 🙂ReplyCancel

  • Also being a mother of triplet boys, I know how badly you must want a baby girl 🙂 Fingers are crossed for a GIRL!!!!ReplyCancel

  • I can’t wait to hear! 🙂ReplyCancel

I can’t wait to find out if they find the second little girl hiding behind her sister !!! pink x 2 is my guess !!ReplyCancel

  • I got my pink after FOUR boys…but then I had twin girls! It was a shock at the time (though as I look back through my blog I “knew” long before my 22 week ultrasound revealed our “surprise”) I just know you will love pink or blue!ReplyCancel

  • I’m going with PINK!ReplyCancel
