Later on today my baby sister is getting married. Wow.
It’s been a whirlwind few days here and we’re still not done! On Thursday night some of her friends and I took her out for her bachelorette party (which I planned). We saw a movie (Something Borrowed – very cute!), ate dinner on The Plaza, went bowling at Lucky Strike in the Power and Light District downtown and then after my pregnant sister in law and I left, the rest of them went dancing. We had so much fun and I loved seeing my sister doing so much laughing! (The stress had been mounting lately.)
Thursday afternoon the tuxes I bought online arrived. Whew! We tried them on the 4 boys (my 3 and their cousin who is 9 months older) on Friday and they looked so handsome! I can’t wait to see the finished product later today with the shoes and aviator sunglasses my sister bought for all of them.
(Obviously a cell phone photo)
That’s Tyler who’s looking all cool with his hands in his pockets. Cracks me up! Oh and there are two different ties being worn because we were taking a picture so my sister could pick which tie to go with.
Anyway, the fun is about to start for the day. The boys are pumped (Jackson wanted to decorate our house for Laura’s wedding – with lights and snow!) and all of the adults are equally excited. I’ve been trying to not take too many pictures this weekend so as to not be obnoxious to people but I feel my anti-obnoxious resolve waning so I’m sure I’ll have my camera out plenty today. Almost time for my hair appointment! Expect a big ol’ wedding post sometime on Monday!
What a special day, Helen! It sounds like such a great bachelorette party, too! The boys look truly handsome!
I, for one, look forward to seeing MANY wedding photos!
The boys do look so handsome in their tuxes! And I can’t wait to see pictures…how fun!!! I hope you all had a wonderful time!
How fun to see a couple of pictures – the boys look so handsome! We’ve been thinking of all of you so much – even Dan looked at the clock yesterday around 5:30 our time and mentioned the wedding!!! I’m sure it was a wonderful time. Can’t wait to see lots of pictures. love you all
LOVE how Chase wears his shoes, lol!
