Christmas is coming. It’s cold outside. Hot drinks are the drink of choice for many right now. You know what that all means? Yep, it’s the season for…. snuggling!

The boys are all about being “cuddly” (their term for having a blanket on them) together right now. On this night they chose to have their bedtime stories read in our bed, so that they could all be cuddly together.

During Quiet Time they drag all kinds of blankets, pillows and bean bag chairs out into the living room to build either “a nest” or to “have the best sleep-over ever”. It’s adorable! Until they start to fight over who sits where, but that’s a different post…

One of our new favorite snuggling times though is rushing the boys into their PJs early and all snuggling up on the couch to watch part of a Christmas movie! This all started last week when we let the boys watch Rudolph when it was on TV. They loved having all the lights off, except for the tree, and snuggling under blankets on the couch as a family. We’ve done it a couple of more times in the last week, watching bits and pieces of other Christmas movies we own and we all love it. I think it’s a fun new family tradition!
