Time to Rally the Troops!

I need help. No, not the kind of help some of you snarky readers are dying to make a comment about! I need help to win a stroller. I mentioned this little photo contest in passing early last week; it was just tacked on to the end of a post, so I’m not sure how many of you actually internalized the info.

Here’s the deal. I need a stroller for baby girl. Currently, I’m a finalist to win a very nice stroller from The Baby Gizmo Company. They held a Christmas Photo Contest and my picture of the boys (from a couple of Christmases ago) was a top 10 finalist. Now the winner is to be determined in what is basically a popularity contest on Facebook. I’m currently losing in said popularity contest. I’m losing quite badly. As of the typing of this post I’m behind by 225 votes.

225 votes people!

That might seem like a lot, and really not worth trying to come back from, but I fully believe I can rally 225 + votes in the next 36 hours and win this thing. Here’s why… The photo currently winning hasn’t really had any new votes in close to a week. I think most of their friends have already voted (you can only vote once). I, on the other hand, have only had about 40 of my 450 Facebook friends vote. Plus, I have all of you!

So what do you say? Can you take 90 seconds to help a girl out? Voting ends tomorrow, so if you could vote today, right now, it would be helpful. I don’t want you waking up in a panic at 1am Saturday and think “oh man, I was supposed to vote for Helen’s picture and totally forgot!”, cause you know that could happen. 😉

As a “thank you” for being such good sports and helping me out, here’s a fun video from this past weekend. The boys were bored and we decided to let them try to play some of the games on Wii Sports. What a hit! Here they are playing baseball, but bowling is their new favorite (and last night Ty was really rocking it – he even bowled two spares on his own!). Oh, and the kid doing complete spins? That’s Jackson and he’s actually the one pitching! He spun himself around so hard a few times he fell on the floor, sadly I did not capture that.
