Snapshots of Life

Ready for lots and lots of pictures? We’ve had a busy 7 days or so and I haven’t shared many pictures! We’ll start with what turned out to be the boys’ final swim lesson of the current session (Chase, Jackson and I all had a stomach bug Friday and Saturday so they missed their final lesson this weekend)…

Pretty much made  their day to get to do the lesson near (and even on!) the big floating snake!

I’ve got lots more pictures from that morning, but Photoshop crashed on me while I was editing them and I was too annoyed to re-open it and start over. Call me lazy, I can take it 😉

We ventured to the zoo last week with some of the mom’s from my moms group. Always a good time, and we hadn’t been the zoo in over a month because of the darn gas prices.

That’s right, Jackson… pat the sheep’s bottom instead of his side or head. *sigh* And yes, it was intentional on his part. He said “I’m going to touch his bottom.” Nice. Apparently he saw that as the “safer” end to touch.

Thursday evening we spotted not one, but TWO rainbows behind our house! The boys had never seen one before, so were quite excited about it.

Like mother like sons!

(Taken by one of the boys with their camera)

Friday afternoon, Chase crashed on the floor. Little did we know that 30 minutes later he and Jackson would be sick and then 12 hours later I would be sick too.

Speaking of kids crashed on the floor… it may be fun to be Lily, but apparently it was a little too much fun!

So sorry for boring you, Lily.

Waiting for Daddy.

Love that grin!

And that double chin. And those chunky arms. And the even chunkier legs that you can’t see here.

  • Beautiful pictures!

I chuckled at Jackson touching the sheep’s butt; that’s something only a boy would do. 😉
