Yesterday I went shopping for the first time in nearly a month. The last two times any grocery shopping has been done, Nick did it (once before Lily was born and once since she was born). Felt good to be scoping out deals and handing a big ol’ stack of coupons to the cashiers! Everything you see below cost me $52.52. Later today I’ll stock up on bread at the Hostess Outlet.
Due to the influx of meals coming into our house since Lily was born, there wasn’t much on our “need” list. I took the chance to buy some things we wouldn’t normally buy much of and to also not worry so much if the price wasn’t rock-bottom. Here’s what I got and where…
HyVee: Eggs (2 dozen), Yoplait Smoothie (3 bags @ $1.25 each), HyVee Golden Raisins, Tortillas (3 packages @ $1 each), Sweetened Condensed Milk (1 can), Jif Natural Peanut Butter (2 jars), Kraft Dressing (1 bottle), Pace Salsa (2 jars @ $1.25 each), Quaker Old Fashioned Oats, Yoplait Greek Yogurt (2 @ .70 each), Baby Carrots (2 2lb bags @ $1.88 each), Red Seedless Grapes (3 pounds).
Price Chopper: Fiber 1 Bars (3 boxes @ $1.60 each), Chex Mix Bars (2 boxes @ $1.50 each), Keebler Club Sticks Crackers, Keebler Wheatables Crackers (3 boxes @ .98 each), Kraft Mayo, Orowheat Sandwich Thins, Bar S Jumbo Franks (2 packages @ .18 each).
