Rubbing Off On Me

The boys’ bad habits are rubbing off on me. Not only did I fall out of the van and land on my rear end last week, but…

What? I never told you the van story?

Last week it became clear to me that I’ve been watching super-klutz Jackson far too much. My baby belly is not big enough yet that I feel like I could blame this on just having balance thrown off due to my pregnancy. Too bad too…

I was just finishing up loading the boys all into the van (on our way to the zoo) and I went to back out the sliding door (as I always do) and I somehow tripped on something and fell out of the van and landed on my rear in the grass. The boys looked mighty concerned at where mommy just disappeared too, and I had to laugh. And be glad it happened in my own driveway and not in the parking lot at the zoo…

Another way the boys are rubbing off on me is with their dressing skills. Yep. I’ve found myself putting my shirts on backwards, and even inside out once in a while. The difference between the boys and me? I don’t go out in public like that. I always catch it and think “oh for crying out loud! I put my clothes on backwards again!”.

Hey, at least I haven’t taken to wearing my shorts like this…

  • That’s funny! Glad you’re OK.
Last time I was pregnant I tripped over the stroller in the parking lot at church(thankfully my daughter was not in it). But I fell on it and broke it!! The main bar along the side just snapped when I landed on it! I was bummed because it was a good Chicco umbrella one, too.ReplyCancel
