Lion Prayer

Every night we say bed time prayers with the boys. Nick has taken to alternating praying in beds with doing a “circle prayer” on the floor in their room. It’s pretty darn cute to watch.

Last night Nick said “let’s do a line prayer!” and the boys excitedly answered that sounded good to them. They all sat down in a line and held hands, Tyler was told to start and then….

He roared. Not just once, but twice. So Nick said “ok, it’s Chase’s turn”.

Then Chase roared twice.

We chalked it up to them just copying each other, like they often do, so we weren’t surprised when Jackson roared when it was his turn.

Then Nick calmly started to pray himself and as he did that Jackson stood up and giggled about the “lion prayer” and it clicked with me. They didn’t hear “line prayer”, they heard “lion prayer” so thought they were supposed to roar!

After Nick finished his little prayer I shared my revelation with him and we both about died laughing!
