I Heart Faces – Sun Flare

Sun flare is a relatively new concept for me and I first tried capturing it last fall. Turns out it was harder to get sun flare and have the rest of the picture properly exposed than I thought it would be! I’ve practiced a few times since then though, and when I saw I Heart Faces had Sun Flare as an upcoming challenge, I messed around with the boys in the front yard late one afternoon. I love this shot I captured of Tyler! Makes him look almost angelic the way he’s holding the frisbee over his head. Oh, and trust me when I tell you he is not angelic.
