About a month ago we were given some beef (there was 1/8 of a steer left over and this group of friends decided to just give it to us, for which we are so thankful). Not just any beef though – beef from a locally raised and slaughtered steer! Let me tell you, this is some of the best beef we’ve ever had. The ground beef has been awesome in meals and the steaks… oh the steaks! Sadly for the boys (and lucky for Nick and me!), they aren’t fans of any steak right now. They’d rather eat pigs in a blanket. Crazy boys!

That’s a very creative shot! I love grass fed beef. That’s what I got in the freezer right now! Same kind of packages.

this is a great shot! I had to laugh as well, for a long time my boys preferred hotdogs to steak, but then there little sister decided she really liked cow, and they finally figured out what they were missing!
