Even though my boys are older and clearly independent, I still hear the phrase “You’ve got your hands full!” more times than I can keep track of. My response (whether out loud or just in my head to myself) has been the same for the last 4+ years… “Yes, but my heart is full too.”
That sentiment holds true today, even when I’m just looking around my messy living room.
Have I ever mentioned that the boys love to play Wii? Ha!
(That’s Jackson, bouncing around the kitchen in a tunnel… all to make Lily laugh!)
Yep. My hands and heart are both very full right now, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
I am just SO thankful for the way you keep me in the loop of your life and heart. It makes the distance a little easier to bear. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with all that you have to be thankful for.
You are an inspiration… thanks for being you! 🙂
Great post Helen! Wonderful reminder to be thankful for whatever God has given us here and now. Is that Jackson in the background of the third picture? Looks like he’s definitely his father’s son!!!! love you guys!!
Ha! Yes, that’s Jackson…. wonder where he learned that from…. 😉
a friend told me that quote and whenever I someone says that – the same phrase comes to my mind and my heart. I love, love, love my big family and wouldn’t have my hands less full for a minute.
