Full Heart

Even though my boys are older and clearly independent, I still hear the phrase “You’ve got your hands full!” more times than I can keep track of. My response (whether out loud or just in my head to myself) has been the same for the last 4+ years… “Yes, but my heart is full too.”

That sentiment holds true today, even when I’m just looking around my messy living room.

Have I ever mentioned that the boys love to play Wii? Ha!

(That’s Jackson, bouncing around the kitchen in a tunnel… all to make Lily laugh!)

Yep. My hands and heart are both very full right now, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

I am just SO thankful for the way you keep me in the loop of your life and heart. It makes the distance a little easier to bear. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with all that you have to be thankful for.ReplyCancel

  • a friend told me that quote and whenever I someone says that – the same phrase comes to my mind and my heart. I love, love, love my big family and wouldn’t have my hands less full for a minute.ReplyCancel
