I don’t usually post twice in a day, but I find this too fascinating to not post about! Every so often I look around my Google Analytics account to see how many visitors I’m getting each day, how much time is being spent on the blog, how they found the blog, etc. I recently noticed an increase in international visitors which is cool and mystifying at the same time!
In the past month I have had visitors from 28 different countries. 28! Check out this list (in order of number of hits from that country in the last 30 days):
USA
United Kingdom
Canada
Germany
Australia
France
Romania
New Zealand
Italy
Norway
China
Turkey
Saudi Arabia
Peru
Ireland
South Africa
Russia
Singapore
Iceland
Malaysia
South Korea
Phillipines
Spain
Indonesia
Brazil
Guam
India
Sweeden
Ok, so some of these I can understand… I obviously know people in the USA. I also have friends in Canada, cousins in the UK and know a few missionaries in Europe and South America. But Singapore? Guam? Sweeden? South Africa? No clue! I was shocked when I looked at the map that shows where my visitors are from. How did these people even find my blog? It’s not like most of these countries are one hit wonders either – I consistently get hits from a lot of them!
So if you’re from one of these many countries or even if you’re one of my THOUSANDS of visitors from the USA and I don’t “know” you or know about you, please comment! I’d love to hear how you found us!
