We pause the vacation posts (yes, I actually have more) to share this adorably messy picture of a very happy Lily!

So the orange all over her shirt is from the carrots that didn’t make it into her mouth (or made it in but then she spit back out).

The black smudges? That’s BBQ chicken grease/burned bits.

No, we don’t give Lily chicken just yet, but she had been laying on the floor drinking her bottle during dinner when Nick noticed she’d dropped the bottle and rolled on top of it. Rather than wipe his fingers off first, he just rolled her back and picked up her bottle for her. She got black junk all over!

At least she’s a happy girl!
