The grandparents (my parents) arrived from Maine last night! This means time at the pool (at their hotel), eating out and tons of activity here at home. Know what else it means? It’s tough for me to sit down and blog. I had a picture all taken for Saturday Savings today, but the day has gotten away from me. Yesterday I tried to write Part 2 of our (Nick and me) story, but Lily was having a crabby day early on and then I was dozing on the couch.

Excuses aside, I decided to just post to say my posts would likely be late the next few days. I know how you all depend on me for your daily entertainment 😉

Speaking of entertainment, on Thursday Tyler did something quite entertaining. He threw his frisbee and it landed on the roof of our house. He asked me to fetch it for him and I told him he’d have to wait until Daddy got home and could get his ladder out. Tyler didn’t like that answer so he disappeared into the house…

Yep. He thought that box would help him reach the roof. Silly kid!

And yes, he’s outside in a t-shirt. Isn’t it glorious?! We all spent the afternoon outside – even Lily. She seemed to enjoy all the fresh air.

  • It is so fun when kids try solving their “problems”, they are so creative! Have fun with your parents, goodness they must have been so excited to see you all after having to wait longer than planned to see Lily!ReplyCancel
