Originally I planned to blog today about my awesome weigh in and how my Matron of Honor dress is too big (yippee!), but my weigh in turned out to be not awesome and instead terrible. It’s ok though. I’ll keep pressing on and I know things will be better next week.
Considering my WI was less than stellar, I thought I’d share fun, light (ha ha! Bubbles are light!) pictures from Wednesday. Wednesday morning, even though it was cloudy and chilly, our mom’s group did an Easter Egg hunt just for our kiddos. So much fun! See, last year’s trip to the city egg hunt was such a disaster (bottom line: the boys didn’t get 12 eggs because the hunt was so poorly run and there were too many pushing and shoving parents) that I thought “wouldn’t it be awesome to do an egg hunt in our mom’s group? We could set an egg limit per kid and it would be in a controlled environment.” I wasn’t the only mom who thought that sounded good, because on Wednesday morning about 25 of us and 35+ kids (most between the ages of 18 months and 3 years I’d guess) convened at someone’s house for some egg hunting fun!
After all the eggs had been picked up, we broke out the bubbles and the kids loved that!
The kids all had so much fun chasing the bubbles around that we continued the bubbly fun here at home!
I love the simple fun of childhood!
Love the bubble pics! amazing! Glad ya’ll had fun!
Love the pictures ! It is like 37 and raining here so the fire department egg hunt for the kids was canceled. Your pictures brightened my day. Thanks !
