Lily is 5 weeks old today. Know what that means? Only 1 more week to go until I have the all clear to return to diet and exercise! Bring it on!
Yesterday I bought myself some much needed new running shoes. I’m not sure what I was more excited about though… new shoes or the insane bargain I got on them! Regular price of these Asics running shoes is $110 and I paid just $28 thanks to a sale at Kohls, an extra 30% off coupon I had and the $10 in Kohls Cash I earned last week when we bought the boys’ rain boots. Woohoo for a shoppers high that will eventually lead to a runners high!
A few months ago Weight Watchers released a new/tweaked program. I’ve been watching people rave about it online and I can’t wait to get back and try it! Next Friday morning I plan to do just that. Here’s hoping I’m capable of losing weight when nursing just one baby, cause I sure wasn’t capable of losing when nursing/pumping for 3!
On April 4th I’m going to start a one month long boot camp…. that meets at 5:30am. UGH!
Did I mention that as of my re-entry into the diet and exercise world that I will have just 10 weeks before my sister’s wedding? That’s 10 weeks to lose as much as I can and fit into my Matron of Honor dress (which, by the way we had to just guess on the size thanks to my enormous belly at the time of ordering). 10 weeks.
Bring it!
Are you a fan of Three Times the Giggles on Facebook? We reached 200 fans last night, and today I’m giving away one of the boys’ very favorite items… a Go Fish CD! Stop on by the FB page to enter!
Don’t forget, I’m on Twitter now! I post a few times a day and would love to have you as a follower. Look me up – 3xthegiggles
I can’t wait until this baby comes so I can get back to it! I have heard TONS of negative things about the new WW, can’t wait to hear how you like it!
Really?! Wow! I’d say 90% of what I’ve read and heard have been people loving the new program! I’m sure I’ll be discussing my thoughts on here 🙂
I’m pulling for you Helen! I have about 12 weeks until my 1/2 marathon. I’m hoping that’ll help with some weight I gained this winter. And by some, I mean close to 20# (at least that’s how it feels). I’m also reading Made To Crave and if I still need help in May…I’ll be giving WW a try! Can’t wait to hear how the running goes!
I think it’s awesome that you’re running a half, Amy! I would love to do that in the next year sometime. The furthest I’ve ever run is a 5K!
YAY another Running buddy 🙂
I’m not sure what’s the bigger high… shopper or runner high.
And I ♥ the new WW program – as I sit here nibbling on my free fruit.
I didn’t get the memo that the 6 wk check meant diet and running! I thought it was just for the hubby!:)
I have been on the new WW program and I like it. It did take some getting used as far as getting the old system out of your head but it is great. Free fruit and most veggies, yummie.
Those shoes looks nice.
