Best Night Ever!

Ok, so maybe it wasn’t the best night ever, but with my long term memory shot and my short term memory questionable (darn Momnesia) this was the best night in a long time…

Ladies and gentlemen, last night I put Lily in her crib shortly after 10:30 (when she finished eating) and she did not get up until, wait for it… almost 8 this morning! WOOHOO!!

I’m not going to lie, when I woke up at 7am and realized I hadn’t woken up all night, I ran into Lily’s room and put my hand on her chest just to make sure she was still breathing. I’m pretty sure when I realized she was ok and still asleep that I did a little jump for joy right there next to her crib. It was delightful to just sit and enjoy my coffee before she even woke up!

Now I kinda feel like I need to recreate exactly what happened yesterday afternoon and evening, including…

Ice cream at McDonald’s

And a fun get together with the girls last night (including Lily and another infant)!

Those giant eyes just kill me!

While I realize her sleeping for nearly 10 hours was likely a fluke, it was wonderful. I don’t remember the last time I got 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep!

Random fun fact of the day for you… Today is the 4 year anniversary of finding out we were having three babies, not just one.
