Back Fat

Back fat isn’t cute on adults, but for some reason it is insanely cute on a baby! The other night I was letting Lily explore the hallway after her bath. She was just wearing a diaper and while her chubby-self was adorable to look at, I about died when I say her back fat rolls when she pushed up into a certain position.

I grabbed my little video camera and hoped she would do it again so that I could capture all the chubby goodness before she wiggles so much that she burns it all off! Guess what… I got lucky 🙂

Some of you may not care about the chubbiness, but I do and I know in a year, two years and ten years down the road I’ll be glad I have this video. In 15 years Lily may not be so glad I have it, but that’s beside the point right now.

And while we’re on the subject of Lily, I must show you these two pictures I took of her late last week! The adorable little outfit will be appearing on a Kansas City news channel later this week…. with Lily wearing it! Yep, baby girl is getting her TV and modeling debut!

Once the time and day is a little closer to firm I’ll let you all know – at this point it’s looking like a Thursday morning airing. I’m going to try to find a way to record it, and if the channel posts a link to video I’ll be sure to pass it along.
