What a week Lily had! First she started talking the previous Saturday and then 6 days later she took her first steps! Know what’s kind of fun about the day she took her first steps? It was exactly 3 weeks after she turned 1, and Ty and Jackson also took their first steps 3 weeks after turning 1! (Chase was content to just sit and watch for a couple of more weeks.)
Lily’s first steps were to Nick (of course!) but then I grabbed the camera and caught some video of her trying to walk to her brothers. This all happened Friday night (the 10th) after dinner. Oddly enough, she still seems to be in the biggest walking mood after dinner!
She gets the biggest kick out of everyone cheering and clapping for her when she takes a couple of steps and  then falls to the ground! I’m pretty sure the other day she was intentionally falling so that we would clap – you should have seen the grin and twinkle in those eyes!

World domination next! Having three brothers to learn from and keep up with, I imagine she’ll always be flying along at top speed!
