A Date With Three Handsome Boys

Way back in early October I made plans to take three of the most handsome boys out for a date. I purchased awesome seats (awesome when you have some shorties in your group means up high, and an unobstructed view) to our church’s annual Christmas show. This show is done every year (this was year 9) and is amazing! I’ve been dying to take the boys to see it, and I figured this year was “the year”.

Know what makes the show even more special? My sister Laura (and the dance company she is in) performs in the show! This would be the boys’ first time seeing Aunt Laura on a stage, in an actual show!

So a little over a week ago, I loaded the boys up and we headed out for our super fun afternoon. First stop? Lunch! Here’s Jackson and his monkey friend, Mr. Bananas. Mr. Bananas is actually the traveling “pet” from the boys’ classroom, and he just happened to be visiting us that weekend.

After our tasty lunch of burgers, onion rings and shakes, we headed to the church to find our seats for the show!

10 minutes into the show, Ty leaned over and said “Mommy, I’m bored”.

Awesome.

Thankfully his boredom was short-lived, and he got into the show. My favorite part every year is Little Drummer Boy. I get goosebumps every time I see it!

The boys’ favorite part? Seeing Aunt Laura dance, of course!
