My Photography

I love photography.

I love taking pictures of my children, nature, random inanimate objects around my house, and other families and children.

In late November 2009 I bought my first DSLR Camera (a Nikon D3000) and really started playing around with my love of photography. I am self-taught in the ways of shooting exclusively in Manual and in Photoshop Elements editing. In June 2011 I decided I wasn’t busy enough already, and started my portrait photography business, Faces You Love Photography.

In February 2012 I upgraded my camera, to a Nikon D7000. I loved that camera, but when a sweet deal for the full-frame D600 came along in late December 2012, I had to go for it! The D600 and an assortment of lenses is now what I shoot with, both at home and professionally.
