9 Years Later

Nine years ago today it was a cold and rainy day in Maine, and I was marrying my best friend.

Nine years later that man still cracks me up, makes me roll my eyes at his weird antics and is my biggest support when it comes to chasing a dream. I thanked Nick earlier this week for his amazing support both here at home (how many other husbands clean the bathrooms each and every week?) and with my photography business venture. Sometimes I forget to thank him for his support and I really need to do a better job with that.

I also need to do a better job at taking pictures of the two of us. Virtually every picture of just us is from before the boys were born! Yikes!

Happy anniversary, Nick! I love you more now than I did when we got married 9 years ago. The first 9 years have been full of more adventure than either of us anticipated and I can’t wait to see what the next nine hold.

P.S. Time to start saving for a sweet 10th anniversary trip I think! I’m thinking tropical beach….
